These portraits were created in collaboration with Bronx Lab School's English and Art classes.
In English, students read excerpts from NPR's series "This I Believe" then wrote their own essays communicating their core values. In Studio Art, students combined text and image to create portraits based on themselves and the essays they wrote or on a person they admired for their core values and beliefs.
